Shaken, not stirred.

So this is cool, right?

You scored as James Bond, Agent 007. James Bond is MI6's best agent, a suave, sophisticated super spy with charm, cunning, and a license's to kill. He doesn't care about rules or regulations and somewhat amoral. He does care about saving humanity though, as well as the beautiful women who fill his world. Bond has expensive tastes, a wide knowledge of many subjects, and his usually armed with a clever gadget and an appropriate one-liner.

I love James Bond. Plus I think Daniel Craig will be very good as the new 007. Rock on. Can't wait for "Casino Royale" next year.

Thank you to anybody who's reading this blog - somebody posted after my last entry and I have no idea who they are...but thank you anyway.

I saw Wolf Creek last night - blimey but it was terrifying. It's certainly put me off a touring trip around the Great Outback. You forget just how HUGE and EMPTY it all is out there. It's certainly very possible that you could dump a body and it would never be found. John Jarratt as the serial killer is horrific. Very good acting - and his carpentry skills from "Better Homes and Gardens" certainly came in handy - if in a particularly gruesome way!

I'm also feeling sick. A bad sore throat - which is normally an indication of impending sickness. I'm just lucky it's hitting now - once the show's over.

Oh yes, the show is over. I hope the end of it will give me some time to relax, re-couperate, and spend some time with myself. I had a wonderful time playing Lord Hong, and I'm so glad it went well, got good audiences and people liked it.

Cheers, Natalie

  1. This may make you smile!

A girl at work came up to my desk today and said "I think I saw the play you were involved with on the weekend, I saw your name in the program" and then gave glowing reviews and even said you were gorgeous! Kudos to Nat!

  2. Awww...shucks!

That's really lovely, I appreciate it. I'm trying to get better at receiving compliments. As most people would know, I'm pretty crummy at accepting them.

Always talking about needing approval but rejecting it when I receive it. It's tragic irony, really. ;)

But thank you. I also have your fan and blue mascara to return to you. I can drop them round to your place on my way home from work - let me know what times are best for you. Or give me a ring or SMS.

    Cheers, Natalie.

  3. The pen is mightier than the sword, so not knowing who I am is irrelavent should the words make you think. In your recent blogs, there are so many questions. Do you really think someone else has the answers? What is incorrect or inappropriate about Natalie's answers? (I mean the true answers and not the ones cloaked in self-deprecating negativity.) I would suggest they are the most valid and the ones to pay attention to. I would like to say something about the idea of stuffing up relationships. In my view it's not possible to stuff up relationships which actually mean something to us. Hello? Any so called stuffing up is usually clear indication that it isn't working any more. A signal to evolve. And yes, Lord Hong was cool.

  4. Mr Anonymous your words do indeed make me think. But you have to realise your identity is important as I now think about who you are when I consider your words.

For exmple, take this part of your response:

"In my view it's not possible to stuff up relationships which actually mean something to us. Hello? Any so called stuffing up is usually clear indication that it isn't working any more."

Now if you happened to be my boyfriend and were posting lines like "it isn't working anymore" under the guise of anonymity, then that would really piss me off.

If you're making a judgement call, then give me the reasons why. You obviously have some inside information into my life at the moment.

Yes, the pen is mightier than the sword, but the truly mighty have the courage to stand by their convictions and identify themselves.

And just in regards to your above comments about stuffing up relationships - I disagree. I have many relationships with many people and I constantly make mistakes. That doesn't mean the relationship is over.

For example, I had a huge email fight with a friend last week. I got snarky at her for a silly reason, and she got mad at me. But this week, we're still friends, despite my "stuff up". The relationship still means something to me.

And in regards to others having the answers - well nobody's going to ever be able to tell me what's right for me. But the trouble is I'm having a very hard time working that out for myself.

I appreciate feedback and advice, and that's why I'm putting this stuff on here. I will thank you for every piece of wisdom you can hand to me, but only if and when you take off your mask.

Email me if you want to. It's argo13@yahoo.com.

    I look forward to it,

    Cheers, Natalie.

  5. Ah...dear Natalie. I do not have any inside information. I am not your boyfriend. And definitely no judgement calls. My words are a response to the feelings you have exposed. God knows why I care enough to respond to the posts of a virtual stranger. Actually, I do know. I like the idea of you celebrating Natalie. Be a drama queen. Be a good friend. Feel every emotion without question. Have the courage to ditch the things and yes, even people, that are holding you back. INDUVIDUATE. Regards from Mr Perpetually Anonymous. . . .

  6. Hey there Mr Perpetually Anonymous,

You're obviously taking some delight in torturing me like this. ;)

I was not suggesting you WERE my boyfriend or a close friend in my last reply. I was using it as an example of where anonymity could be used for evil instead of good.

Believe me, I would like to be the drama queen all the time. It's so much easier just to shout, and rant, and cry. But I truly want to be able to control those emotions before they overpower everything else. I have certain relatives to look to for a bad example - somewhere drama queen can end up which is NOT the place I want to be.

Meanwhile I'm suffering tiredness and a bad cold which is affecting most of my thinking at the moment. ;) Forgive me guys, for I have sneezed.

    Cheers, Natalie.
